Sephora x Tokidoki

Sooo im pretty sure everyone knows that Im totally anticipating for the sephora x tokidoki makeup line to come out in stores ! I went to sephora today in hopes of seeing the whole line, but it wasnt out yet =[ But the sales assoc. was nice enough to grab us some testers from the back !! =) Me & my friend were so amazed with some of the products. I fell in love with the eyeliners, the colors are so pigmented and really nice. It's consistency was so smooth and slick. We also saw the lipstains, but i dont like those in general so i didnt pay much attn to it. There were also the eyeshadows & eyeshadow quads , they were really smooth & creamy. I loveeee everything. I wanted some lipgloss too but then they didnt have any testers. Overall i loved everything i saw! ^^ I'm really anticipating for the whole thing to come out though, i think im going to be definately getting the eyeliners for sure, its my fav part of the line so far.

I also liked how every product had the little compact box that says how long the product is good far which was from 12m -36m. Idk why but something about that makes me like it. lol The packaging was super cute of course. SIGH! Now all i need is a job haha. I picked out an app for a bakery but im not sure if i should work since my school times are kind of all over the place.
We shall see , i guess ><

SCHOOLS OVAAA~ Now for spring break! Cant wait for the new qtr its so exciting for some reason... lol & boyfriend is coming home tonight !! ^^ He wasnt able to come back last weekend so im glad hes coming back & b/c i uberly misssss himm ~ Anyways ill update soon b/c its like 130Am already and i just got back home... but everything i wrote before the last few sentences was earlier today at 530PM and things happenedd so now time to sleep. haha =)

Darn You Sephora !

So as I said about the new tokidoki line at sephora, I went to a sephora today. But it wasnt there, i was deeply saddened. I asked one of the people who worked there and she told me that by the end of next week they should have it, and she also told me about how theyre releasing a new hello kitty x sephora line this fall. UGH Im so jealoussss =[ All b/c theyre coming out with too much cute stuff i want, but am unable to obtain them. haha oh well maybe i still can get it for xmas? or find a job for xmas... but either way i know its going to be depleted faster then i can make the money.

I think I'm going through Ulta withdrawl, which feels so ugly. On a week to week basis i would drop in at LEAST 2x/week but i havent been there once this week. But i had a few things I really wanted to get... since there's so promos going on... lol Like the Ulta BOGOfree brush, Revlon BOGO free, & L'oreal BOGO 1/2 off. & I have a coupon at target i havent used yet but will expire soon.. -.-'' Hopefully Ill be able to get those things by this weekend. & Hopefully boyfriend will come homeeeee kekeke. ^^

Anyways finals are almost? here ! One more week then spring break. Im super looking forward to it before i have to go back. I'm taking 19 units next qtr hopefully ill be able to manage, and get all A's haha which is my goal next qtr. Seriously no more procastinating, slacking off nonsense. But im trying to be optimistic atm maybe it will somehow motivate me.. haha Im going to go off now and paint my nails & watch I Am Sam. =)

but i cant help myself. Its so hard being a college student with no dough. X_x There's a 1/2 of me who wants to buy things but theres the other side thats telling me not too! So i can save up and use it on school, but it's so hard. It doesnt make anything easier considering theres a new tokidoki x sephora makeup line out. I lovee the tokidoki packaging more then the smashbox one, theyre so colorful and bright i loveee it. I personally havent seen it in stores yet but i want too. Wouldnt life be easier if everything just came free? =) Anyways I complied a list of things.... i want. LOL Plus its always fun to just look at pictures.

two weeks

"Don't worry, I'll see you in two weeks."

I remember the very first day my boyfriend left for college, I was crying and was just so sad. I remember how hard it was hearing those words that he'll see me in a few weeks. I dreaded the time going by when he did come back b/c it just meant closer to him leaving again. Now it's different, of course i still miss him but distance makes the heart grow fonder, and two weeks being apart isnt so bad anymore. Heck, i can even handle 3 weeks but no more lol

My boyfriend and I have been together for almost 2 years now & I realize we've been through a lot, but I still truly love him. Today is our 22 months and i am truly thankful for every day, every month, and every year we are still together. Through everything, he's my prince in shining armor minus the whole saving thing b/c i didnt need to be saved from the first place.

Hope that made you gag enough =)

Birthday Weekend.

So my bday was last thursday, I had planned to just eat out with my family, but around 5PM my boyfriend suddenly came back to surprise me for my bday. I was so happy!! I also got to see Alice in Wonderland at the midnight premiere w/ him & another good friend of mine. It was so much fun, considering i never went to a premiere for anything. We went there almost 2 hours early, thinking it would be packed... but it wasnt haha We had a lot of fun though. I liked the movie, i thought it was good but not great. It was still a really.. nice movie.. haha

The next day, my boyfriend changed my car oil for me, which i helped.. haha We then went to help my mom with some chores around the house, well he mostly did most of it.. haha Such as taking out wires, but i helped !! xD Then my friends came over and we went to eat at this chinese family styled restaurant. I had a really fun time seeing all my friends, we dont get to see each other or hang out as often anymore. So its always fun when i get to see all of them at once. My friends bought me some makeup kekeke i got the popbeauty eyeshapper palette in Plum popper, and a pop beauty ka-ching hotpot in peach prize. I havent tried any of it yet but i will. And my friend got me a yellow shirt, and a tshirt that says one smart cookie haha After we ate, we went back to my house and played life twist & turns, it was so funny. The person who won happened to be a model, a wife, mother of three with a PH.D haha my friends just found it hilarious.

A Sense of Pride.

I dont know about you guys, but im proud of what i do. Especially papers i write,so when someone beats on my paper i get really upset, maybe more upset then i should be. I realize that i should be open to criticism to grow as a writer, but seriously i hate it when people say really hurtful things about paper when i really placed a lot of effort into it. Maybe its my pride getting in the way and im really stubborn but wouldn't that piss you off too? Knowing that you put all your energy into something and people shoot it down where they are giving you more criticism then constructive criticism? It really bugs me and makes me so mad, considering I do really well in English i dont understand it when people dont understand it. Ugh, anyways i will blog sometime this week about my past birthday weekend, hopefully when im less annoyed..

birthday girl.

Its been longer then i wanted to go without blogging. But the last weeks have been uber hectic.

First off i officially moveed out of my house and I am currently in my new house. It's new and I'm still adjusting to it. My new room is huge, its more like a studio? Anyways boxes are still lying around my room, I dont feel like unpacking yet, maybe because i have no incentive. That and because my desk hasnt been built yet, since i gave my brother the desk i was using before. Ugh, maybe I'm just too lazy haha I passed by my old house today to pick up mail, but then i saw that my cousin's roomates car was in the driveway and somehow i just chickened out. It felt weird at that moment that there was someone elses car there and not mine, or my parents. Don't get me wrong, I like my new house, but i've spent a good 18 years of my life there. Everything was there, everything that happened, all those memories when i was growing up. At least it's not some stranger living there, but my cousin, which means i can at least visit. =)

Secondly i have no internet for a good week that i have lived here. Ive tried using wifi internet at the library ( both on campus & public) but it keeps disconnecting me and making it such a pain to deal with so i gave up trying to use it. Thankfully i had some asian dramas on my laptop to keep me company.

Anyways this blog is titled birthday girl, and thats b/c in 3 days itll be my TWENTY-TH birthday. MMMMM, I'm excited ! =) My boyfriend even gave me an early bday present which were the smashbox Tokidoki quads in celebrita & modela (sp?) <3
He knows im such a sucker to makeup, xD My brother also bought me the Too Faced Glamour to go II. Which i absolutely loveeee its too cute. I really like the green & yellow shades of eyeshadow it has since i dont really have any of those colors. So i was super excited to use it this weekend.



I used the yellow & green shade, but the flash doesnt allow the yellow to show up very well, but its there ! xD
