Hot Weather

It has been unbearably hot this week. Yesterday was 102~ degress F and today is no better. This has been the hottest week of summer so far hands down ! I can't believe how hot it is and wishes it was cooler ! I feel that I can't go out bc its way too hot and sweaty -.-'' And my ac didnt to give out today since it's spraying out a mist of water when i turn it on and makes this really weird noise...Anyways here's a look at the forecast where I live:



Anyways, I wanted to blog to give you a month of July Favorite Products regards to beauty etc.




So I was looking for a BB cream to use, but was soo skeptical choosing the right shade for me , but then I stumbled upon someone's blog regarding BB creams etc and found out that Sonia Kashuk's radiant Tinted Moisturizer was a good knock off apparently. So I gave it a try since this was less then $15 and much cheaper and accessible then the BB creams. I got the moisturizer in beige and i think it comes in 5 different shades and they also offer SPF 15 in the product also. The product states that:

* tinted moisturizer is makeup and treatment in one
*light reflectors hep disguise fine lines and wrinkles
*delivers a more even skin tone
*UVA & UVB protection

in the front of the product it states:
* A tinted moisturizer that helps balance and protects skin

The MOST active ingredients in this product include :
* Octinoxate 7.50%




*Avobenzone 2.00%



Thoughts:
From these graphs it seems that the coverage is pretty decent. But anyways I have grown to love this product it's really easy to put on and makes my routine shorter without having to put on moisturizer & foundation separately. After I put this on I place powder over it to set it.

Pros:
* the color is very blendable
* staying power is very good- it stays on the whole day without budging too much
* UVA & UVB protection !!
* easy to find & not costly
* doesnt smell like sunscreen

Cons:
* this is a liquid moisturizer, and sometimes its tooo liquid-y you can accidentally get too much product by squeezing the product.
* SPF is a bit lower for me, I burn easily so I think this wouldve been better if it was SPF 30, i think SPF 15 is too minimal for me

Rundown:
I lovee it, and have been using it everyday religiously after I get up. I think I'm halfway down my tube and i think i bought this just when summer was starting, so around June. I have never tried BB creams so I wouldnt know how "great" or "bad" this product this is compared to other BB creams. But I like this way better then the Physician's Formula Healthy Wear SPF 50 Tinted Moisturizer.

A Sunny Sunday

My boyfriend came back this weekend to visit me =] We went out to see Piranha 3D and the expendables with two other good friends.



Piranha 3D was so gross... there was so much gore and blood in it - i wanted to barf. When i first watched the trailer it seemed like a very low budget movie kind of feel. I think at some parts the movie was very predictable but made us still jump in our seats. Even my guy friend jumped HAHA so silly Anyways this movie revolves around a group of people trying to survive spring break with scary flesh eating prehistoric fish in the lake. Apparently the first blood/bite draws the pack and then further consumption of the flesh. Seriously i can NOT emphasis enough how gory this movie was and so disgusting ack! People become amputated , cut in half etc obviously these are flesh eating fish that snip and bite at you until theres nothing left to munch on. SO GROSS, okay sorry you get it i get it i'll stop now HAHA



We wanted to watch the expendables bc being so asian we are was because of Jet Li lol But can i just say Jason Statham is so sexy. *drool I love MOST of his action-y movies definately not crank though -.-'' Anyways back to the movie, a group of assasins or something going off to kill someone etc type of plot. It was alright i had hoped/wished there have been more to the plot it was just super action-y throughout the whole movie.

Anyways, I've been listening & watching Taeyang's new mv " I'll be there" continuously its getting ridiculous. I have never really been a taeyang kind of girl, gdragon has always been my fav. I also felt so many people like him now only bc he's
a) semi bald and no longer has corn rolls
and
b)wedding dress was a SUPER hit and made all the girls in the world swooon

So i mean yeah thats why ive never really cared for him much, even when wedding dress first came out. I was just YAWN, until people kept playing it then it grew on to me. But no, I'll be there is completely different in the best way possible. And bc i strongly disliked, I need a girl, it was so not his best song... like srsly you need a girl who will eat your kimchi? Yeahh no thanks, i prefer i'll be there over the other song anyday. I love his voice it sounds so manly and powerful, his live perfs were also very awesome. But i would have to say this new song is definitely my fav solo song of his along with make love.

I like powders in general because i always feel that I'm my skin is too oily and i think it's kind of gross and it feels gross too. I bought it b/c i heard it was pretty good and it was on sale at Ulta xD It's pretty okay, i place it on my face after i use my concealer, tinted moisturizer and i look matte. But by the end of the day i'm oily again, i don't like to reapply it because i think it will make me look to washed out by repeatedly reapplying. But i don't notice it when it wears off so that must be a good sign.

I bought the mascara just b/c the packaging looks like it will make my lashes longer and whatnot. My friends told me that the one they bought but in Volume worked really well for them and made they're lashes look like falsies. So i though why not? It works okay but i have really short lashes so i don't see my lashes as well as i wish it would make them look. I feel that the primer or step 1 of the mascara seems to help a little just by priming. Oh i also heat up my curler a bit too and the results are about the same. My friend told me my lashes looked fuller but i wanted them to look longer lol

I bought the trio eyeliners b/c ive been wanting these since they came out but i never saw them in stores until recently. It comes with the colors: black, purple and brown. So far i've tried all of them except brown. For the money i paid for these they work really well. The consisitency is wonderful very easy to pick up the product and no trouble placing them on. I use my UDPP before applying these and they don't smear or run.

Lately i've been obsessed with painting my nails, i think b/c i know when i work i won't be able to paint them all these fun colors xD

I didn't cover my whole nail with the nail design set. My friend actually did this, haha They lasted pretty long but i went camping with this nail design so it was peeling and stuff by the time i got back

Anyways, I've been wanting to paint my nails some kind of matte color.. preferably yellow. LOL and i've been thinking about getting the essie matte about you polish. Prbly tmr when i buy more nail polish xD

Pt III

When my boyfriend came back from China, i spent most of my time with him and our friends. My boyfriend's parents had also wanted to renovate their backyard a little bit. Just by paving and flattening the ground and then laying bricks over it while maintaining an area for his mom to garden. I can't begin to explain to you how many Lowe's as well as Home Depot we went to trying to find his bricks. Apparently the design he picked was also going to be discontinued after it ran out, so we were on a hunt to get all the bricks asap. Not like 500 bricks it was more like 3000. -.-'' We emptied out a lot of Lowe's just b/c of those bricks. WHile i went with them to buy these bricks I found my love for swimming pools and how wonderful they look.

They had better pictures in the book, but you get the idea right? Just so beautiful i honestly wanted to drool... into the pool ! haha jk But going with my guy friends to home improvement stores really got me thinking of how I would want to decorate my future house.

Pt II

The weekend before I was able to go camping w/ my family in Yosemite and I really liked it. My cousins from Sweden were visiting also, so more girl bonding which I love haha All my cousins that I have in the states are mainly boys so it’s nice for some girl bonding. We joked a lot about the bears coming out at night and eating all our food keke The park rangers there made sure we locked all our food safely into this bear proof container. They also had curfew/quiet hours at 10PM which was hard to obey the first night, since it was too early to sleep. My cousins, my brother and I went hiking too towards Vernal Falls which is about 1.5 miles so round trip was about 3 miles. I must have been crazy because I went hiking in skinny jeans, how i made it , i wouldnt even know how to answer you. My aunt told me how when she was younger she went hiking with her cousins to half dome which is .... i forgot how many miles but you can read about it here:

Anyways back to my aunt's story she told me how her cousins and herself attempted half dome in her early 20's . It sounded so scary ><>

We also went swimming in the creek which was freezing cold x.x But it felt totally nice after the hike considering it got so hot going back down. FYI My legs were in pain for the next couple of days. I really liked yosemite and i want to go back maybe next time i'll attempt the second waterfall =]

A Much Needed Update Pt 1

Hello everyone it is now about 5 minutes to 2 AM in California, so why am i up so late?

Why not?

No just kidding, but I was having this major headache and I couldn't sleep.
So I thought why not share all my hauls that I've collected and all the things I've been up too. Well first off, I'm going to seperate my stories into different sections to make it a bit easier to read. Recently came back from visiting my boyfriend in _____________ , his college town even though he was working at the time also xD But it was okay I still got to see him and was able to finish my online class work while he was at work.. Anyways here's what I was up to while I was visiting him.

Coach wristlet boyfriend bought me <3>

A roommate from my boyfriend’s apartment made me read this book, Asterios Polyp, which was pretty interesting and nice because it was a comic book.. haha

I took a whole lot of random pictures from my boyfriend’s apt. I spent a whole lot of time one night camwhoring while he was playing on his computer xD

I loved being there and being able to spend time with him, too bad he was at work though.
